Accepting pilot partners

Help us build something calmer

We’re looking for shelters and rescues to partner with during our pilot phase. No cost. No commitment. Just a conversation about what your team needs.

What pilot partners get

This isn’t a sales process. It’s a partnership.

Free access during pilot

No cost, no contracts, no credit card. We’re focused on learning, not billing.

Direct line to the team

You’re not filing a ticket. You’re talking to the people who write the code — and we listen.

Shape the product

Features built around your workflow, not the other way around. Your shelter’s needs drive the roadmap.

Onboarding support

We’ll help get your team set up, import your dogs, and make sure the first week goes smoothly.

How it works

From first email to first walk logged — here’s what to expect.

You reach out

Fill out the form above or email us directly. Tell us about your shelter and how your team works today.

We have a conversation

A quick call or email thread to understand your workflow, pain points, and what “better” looks like for your team.

We set you up

Your shelter account gets created. We’ll import your dogs and walk through the dashboard with your staff.

Your team starts using it

Volunteers log activities, staff see patterns emerge, and we iterate together based on what’s working.

Common questions

How much does it cost?
Nothing during the pilot. We’re focused on getting the product right, not revenue. If and when we introduce paid plans, pilot partners will always be taken care of.
Do we need to install anything?
Nope. Heelr runs in the browser — any phone, tablet, or computer. No app store downloads, no IT department required.
How long does setup take?
Most shelters are up and running within a day. We handle the initial dog import and walk your team through the basics. From there, volunteers can start logging right away.
What if we already use shelter management software?
Great — Heelr is designed to complement your existing tools, not replace them. We’re exploring integration support so your systems can talk to each other.
We’re a small rescue, not a big shelter. Is Heelr for us?
Absolutely. Whether you have 5 dogs in foster homes or 200 in a facility, the core problem is the same: making sure the right dog gets the right care at the right time. We’d love to hear how your rescue works.

Still thinking about it?

No pressure. If you’re curious, drop us a line and we’ll tell you more. No pitch, no follow-up spam — just a conversation.
